Customer Payroll Challenge:
This organisation had two employees – one on maternity leave and the other had to take a leave of absence due to an illness. A temporary consultant was hired in-house to manage the payroll services however this solution caused several issues. There were errors in processing and delays in response and processing time due to the availability of the consultant which lead to late payments, incorrect calculations, and control issues around confidentiality.
The company decided to contact an outsource payroll services company in hopes that their expertise in payroll management would rectify the problems that had occurred.
